to occur in the persons who have the history of hypersensitivity to penicillin class of drugs besides those having the history
of allergy, asthma, hay fever or urticaria. There may be some adverse reactions also experienced by the individual patient

Gastrointestinal problems like glositis, stamatitis, nausea, vomiting, enterocolitis, pseudo membranous colitis and
diarrhoea – such reactions are generally linked with oral type of dosages of Omnipen-Ampicillin. Hypersensitivity reactions like
erythematous, mildly pruritus, more frequently reported are maculopapular skin rash mostly developing on the soles, palms and oral
mucosa besides rest of the body after a week of dosage initiation. Such conditions go away within 3 to 7 days. Other hypersensitivity
reactions that have been reported are: skin rash, pruritus, and urticaria, erythema-multiform, rare case of exfoliate dermatitis.
The anaphylaxis is the serious most reaction of this drug which is usually accompanied by the Parenteral dosage from of this drug.
Liver may show moderate increase in serum glutamic oxalacetic transaminase-SGOT, but its importance is yet to be ascertained.
Besides all these, the Hemic and Lymphatic systems like anemia, thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopenic purpura, eosinophilia, leucopenia
